Promotion Guide
Keep in mind if you do some of these things you can't expect to automatically get promoted.
We will promote you when we see fit.
Getting promotions in this server takes time.
We have to be able to know that you are loyal and trustworthy.
So if you plan on getting promoted from level 9 to level 12 in a month, you might as well forget it.
Well first of all, the most important thing is to follow the clan morals and clan virtues. Also following the protocol to enforce the rules is key, being social helps immensely, and being polite is a must. Other than that is all about being helpful to everyone. Now something you must understand about the Renegade Clan is you don't need a high level to get the same respect as high admins get. Something different about the admins and Server Bosses here in the Renegade Clan is that we don't care how well you play the game, as long as you try and don't screw around (for example: knifing your own team in your spawn).
Another thing that shows unity in the clan is to play the game using good teamwork. Don't just go off competing for frags with a rambo medic approach. Not that it's a rule or anything. By all means feel free to rambo med once in a while. Just remember, teamwork is how we prefer our members to approach the game. After all, anyone can get high frags as a medic who doesn't help their team.
Controlling your temper is critical with >RC|. If you're all of a sudden angry because your team is full of new players who don't know what they are doing, don't freak out and yell at them. Nor should you just leave and go pout in your room like a little child. This is when you need to just be a mature person and deal with it. You can suggest a team shuffle, however never just do a shuffle mid-map. That creates problems and causes people to leave. If you want to shuffle, do it during a map intermission, when people look at their stats and stuff, OR during warmup of the next map. Just be sure that if there are bots on the server to keep the same amount of bots on each team. Another thing we suggest is to never !putteam another player to even the teams. First ask nicely for someone to even teams and if you're on the team with the most players then you, yourself, should switch teams to help even things out. If you are already on the team with the fewest amount of players and have already asked nicely for another player to join your team and nobody does, then you may use !putteam to even the teams.
Another thing that we do is tell our members that having TeamSpeak and using it often will help us admins to better understand your personality. Members and guests that are active TeamSpeak users have a better chance of getting the admins and Server Bosses to like them and connect with them on a level that can only can be acquired through good verbal communication. Also we want our guests and members to be very active on our forums. This also allows us to interpret the kind of person you are. The forums are there for a reason and that is to get the voice or opinion of anyone (even the little guys) on the table for everyone to see and respond to.
